Given the huge success of the Lindy Perch Talker and many requests from walleye anglers, Lindy created the Wally Talker specifically for catching walleyes through the ice. Thatās not to say the Wally Talker wonāt catch other species. It most certainly will. However, the high-pitch sound sent out by clacking and spinning brass disks and glass beads, the sizes, and the color schemes are ideal for walleyes. The fortunate few who got to test Wally Talkers last ice season can hardly wait to have a full arsenal of these unique ice baits next winter. Beads and disks send out sound and vibration to attract fish, and the transparency of the glass beads creates an almost holographic suggestion of a baitfish. The Wally Talker, which can be matched with a live minnow, a minnow head, larvae or plastics comes in a 1/8- and Ā¼-ounce sizes and in eight color patterns. All come equipped with a strike-triggering red treble hook.
